To maintain a professional training environment, all learners must commit to high standards of attendance, honesty, and accountability. This pledge outlines your basic responsibilities and the consequences of misconduct.
-
Attendance and Communication: If you cannot make it to class, you must inform your manager and facilitator at least 2 hours before class starts. If you are running late, you must notify them immediately.
-
Absence Due to Illness: If you are sick and cannot attend class, you must immediately inform your manager and facilitator, and submit a valid registered doctor's note stating the examination date and that you are unfit for duty.
-
Zero Tolerance for Dishonesty: Any form of dishonesty, misrepresentation, or submitting a falsified or tampered sick note will result in immediate disciplinary action.
-
Unauthorised Absence: Being absent without permission or failing to submit a doctor's note will lead to warnings and a suspension of your stipend. Being absent without permission for more than 3 consecutive days can result in the termination of your learnership.
-
Module Submissions: You are required to submit all learning modules on time. If you miss an agreed-upon deadline without an approved arrangement, your stipend will be suspended immediately and you may face disciplinary action leading to termination.
-
Policy Acceptance: By agreeing below, you indicate that you understand these rules of conduct, carefully accept the responsibilities of this pledge, and acknowledge that failure to comply can result in warnings, stipend suspension, or the termination of your learnership.
